Romans 12:2 – Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. This verse encourages us to not be conformed to the standards of this world, but to instead be transformed by renewed minds in order to recognize and fulfill God’s will.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 – The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. This verse is a reminder that the purpose of life is to fear God and keep His commandments. This is ultimately the most important thing we can do with our lives.

Colossians 1:16 – For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. This verse reminds us that God created all things for His purposes and that our ultimate purpose is to glorify Him.
Matthew 5:16 – In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. This verse encourages us to let our good works shine before others so that they may give glory to God.
1 Peter 4:10 – As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. This verse reminds us to use the gifts and talents God has given us to serve one another and to be good stewards of His grace.
Psalm 8:6 – You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet. This verse reminds us that God has given us dominion over the works of His hands and has put all things under our feet. Our purpose is to use this dominion to glorify God and to serve others.
Romans 8:28 – And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. This verse reminds us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
2 Corinthians 5:20 – Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. This verse reminds us that we are ambassadors of Christ and that our purpose is to make God’s appeal known to others.
Matthew 28:19 – Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This verse reminds us of the Great Commission, that it is our purpose to go out and make disciples of all nations.

Galatians 6:10 – So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. This verse encourages us to use our opportunities to do good for everyone, but especially for those of the household of faith.
Luke 12:48 – But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
