1. Judah Was the Fourth Son of Jacob

  • The tribe of Judah was named after Judah, the fourth son of Jacob and Leah (Genesis 29:35).

2. Blessing of Leadership

  • Jacob prophesied that Judah would be the tribe of kings, stating, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah…” (Genesis 49:10).
