When we repent of our sins and put our trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, we are forgiven and receive eternal life. We also receive the Holy Spirit who gives us peace in our hearts. Therefore, because of what Jesus has done for us, He is rightly called the Prince of Peace. Jesus was the Supreme Peacemaker through his word of peace leading the human race from false prophets to the kingdom of God.
