  1. Genesis 6:9 – “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” Noah was a righteous man who walked with God.
  2. Genesis 6:13 – “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” God told Noah that He would destroy the world with a flood because of the violence and wickedness of the people.
  3. Genesis 7:1 – “And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.” God saw Noah as righteous and commanded him to enter the ark with his family.
  4. Genesis 7:7 – “And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.” Noah, his sons, and their wives all entered the ark to escape the flood.

  11. Genesis 9:18-19 – “And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.” Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, repopulated the earth after the flood.
  12. Genesis 9:21 – “And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.” After the flood, Noah became drunk and passed out in his tent.
